1. Picking Up Your Baby at Every Cry

You don’t have to pick up your baby every time he cries. Over time you’ll be able to distinguish between an “I’m hungry” cry, “I’m dirty” cry, and “I just want attention” cry. If you start picking up your baby at every peep, he’s going to expect it every time. This will create a nightmare for both you and future babysitters/daycare providers.
