A woman in Minnesota has been sentenced to prison for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl with her husband. A Stearns County judge handed Stacy Lee Row her sentence after the 57-year-old pleaded guilty to the heinous crime last year. The sentencing follows months of twists and turns in the case surrounding Row and her husband.
Police first learned of the crime back in April of 2019. An officer reportedly received information on a possible sexual assault that took place between July 2017 and April 2018.
Looking into investigation reports, the officer reportedly found an interview with the young victim. In the interview, the child told investigators of an encounter she had with Row and her husband, Steven Dale Row, at the couple’s home.

According to the victim, Steven touched her chest and forced her to touch her own genitals, while Stacy forcibly performed oral sex on her. When the victim resisted, Steven reportedly told her “it was fine and OK,” and that she “did not need to feel uncomfortable,” according to a criminal complaint. He also told her not to tell anyone of the encounter, “or he would get in trouble.”
Bringing The Rows To Justice
Following these revelations, police apprehended Steven Dale Row, arresting him in May 2019 on one felony count of aiding and abetting 1st degree criminal sexual conduct. While he was initially held on $200,000 bail, the SCTimes reported that he was seen days later at his residence, driving away in his work truck. This was the last time he was seen before he disappeared.
Steven’s disappearance set off a weeks-long manhunt. During the search, police reportedly discovered that he had been researching suicide methods before going missing.

Finally, police found Steven Dale Row’s body inside his truck in July of 2019. While an autopsy was not immediately conducted, police reported that they were investigating the death as a suicide.
Police also apprehended Stacy Lee Row following the allegations, charging her with one count of 1st degree sexual conduct. In a statement to an officer, she admitted that the claims against her and her husband were true. Furthermore, she said that “both she and (Steven Row) regretted this conduct every day and knew that it was wrong,” according to the criminal complaint.
Stacy Row went on to plead guilty to the charge in December of 2020. She faces 12 years in prison for her crime following this week’s sentencing.
