Youth Voices is a collaboration between Parentology, Write the World’s Civics in Action program, the National Children’s Campaign, and Facing History and Ourselves. The main articles in this section feature work by young people who are investigating, reporting, and reflecting upon what it means to be an active citizen in the world today. Other content includes spotlights on today’s youth — who they are, what they’re doing, and how they are impacting the world.
About Write the World
Write the World is dedicated to improving the writing of high school students through a global online community and guided interactive process. Young writers are empowered to develop their voices, refine their editing skills, and publish on an international platform. Write the World helps students develop the writing strategies and communication tools essential for success in school, career, and life.
About National Children’s Campaign
National Children’s Campaign is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that serves as a catalyst to make children a priority. They are dedicated to empowering young people to use their voices to advocate for the political, community, and global issues that matter most to them.
About Facing History & Ourselves
Facing History and Ourselves uses lessons of history to challenge teachers and their students to stand up to bigotry and hate. Their curriculum, which helps students connect choices made in the past to those they will confront in their own lives, forms the basis of Civics in Action writing prompts.
