There’s more than one way of celebrating Halloween… Enter the Great Wolf Lodge’s Howl-o-ween. Touted as the “largest family of indoor water parks resort hotels” the franchise also knows how to get into the spooky spirit. Visit one of the brand’s 18 locations to see transformations into a truly magical Halloween experience. On tap for the whole family are festivities from a trick-or-treat trail to games and activities perfect for the season.
Step inside the Great Wolf Lodge’s Grand Lobby full of pumpkins and decor and the Halloween spirit takes hold. Games and activities are complimentary for guests and include “Twisted & Tangled” and “Boo Bingo.”
There are even prizes for which to compete, such as a Great Wolf Gift Card through the Candy Corn Guessing Contest. Stop by the Great Wolf Lodge’s front desk to see a jar full of candy corn, take a chance and guess how many are in there – the closest guess is the grand prize winner.

Have the best costume in mind, but nowhere to show it off in its entirety? A costume parade gives kids the chance to showcase their creativity to other guests in the Grand Lobby. Another place where costumes are in action — during the Monster Bash Dance Party, where families bust out their coolest dance moves to a Halloween-themed playlist of spooky spins.
A Trick-or-Treat Trail lets kids play interactive games and visit various shops around the Lodge to obtain candy. The Teal Pumpkin stop gives non-food treats to guests with food allergies, or those looking to cut back on their sugar intake. Activities geared towards little ones run the gamut from “Spooktacular Story Time,” “Critter Cartoons” and “Paws on Projects.”
All guests are encouraged to wear their own costumes to take full advantage of the Great Wolf Lodge’s Howl-o-ween celebration. For each night stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge, Howl-o-Ween festivities are included. Start planning your Howl-o-Ween adventures at Great Wolf Lodge on their website.
