Community Days are big for the Pokemon Go fan base collective, with the final two of the year hitting this month. During Pokemon Go Community Days, groups of players walk streets, discovering special Pokemon features and added bonuses made available specifically for these days. A special perk occurring this month — not one, but two, Community Days — December 14th and 15th.
The Community Day events will each last 12 hours (from 9 am to 9 pm) with bonus times in the afternoon (from 11 am to 2 pm). The small afternoon windows feature a special Pokemon list that includes Pokemon featured during 2019 Community Days.

This year’s 2019 Community Pokemon that will spawn more frequently here in the US include Bagon, Ralts, Swinub, Chimchar, Totodile, Trapinch, Torchic, Turtwig, Mudkip, Slakoth, and Treecko.
Folks participating in raids will also be able to catch special Pokemon both from 2019’s Community Days, as well as featured ones from 2018. Raids also provide potential hatches.
And for all those who aren’t familiar with these terms, Niantic says of raids, “Raid Battles occur when a Boss Pokémon takes over a Gym. Your goal is to defeat this powerful Pokémon. If you and your fellow Trainers are successful, you’ll be rewarded with special items and a chance at catching that Pokémon.”
Confused about eggs and hatching? Niantic says, “Pokémon Eggs are items that can be found at PokéStops. Once you place an Egg in an incubator and walk a specific distance, the Egg will hatch into a Pokémon.”
Raids for Community Event this year will feature 2019 and last year’s 2018 Pokemon Larvitar, Squirtle, Chikorita, Mareep, Beldum, Bulbasaur, Eevee, Cyndaquil, Dratini, Charmander and, of course, Pikachu. Possible hatches from these raids will include Slakoth, Totodile, Swinub, Charmander, Bagon, Mareep, Dratini, Larvitar, Torchic, Pikachu, Treecko and Bulbasaur.
All of these Pokemon available for Community Days are a huge win for fans, who got an extra holiday bonus late last month with a boost to their storage upping it from 2500 to 3000.
So join a local Pokemon Go, enlist the entire family or start your own group to make the most out of 2019’s final Community Days. After all, these days devoted to teamwork make them all the more fun.
