If you’ve wanted to check out top streaming shows like Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Discovery, The Good Fight, The Twilight Zone and more, now’s your chance. CBS All Access is offering viewers a one-month free trial of the service with a new CBS All Access free trial code.
The announcement came as Star Trek: Picard finished up its first season this week. And the main man who let everyone know about the free trial code? Sir Patrick Stewart, himself. Here’s a screenshot of the tweet. (Link is below.)

Even if you’re not a Star Trek fan (GASP!), CBS All Access offers a lot of other great content you can’t find anywhere else, or that you would have to individually pay for if you wanted to watch it on Amazon Prime. For example, beyond the original programs mentions above, their library includes Cheers, CSI, CSI: Miami, Frasier, The Good Wife, all of the NCIS shows, Survivor, Twin Peaks, and other great, classic shows.
CBS All Access Free Trial Code
As with any streaming service offering a free trial, you’ll need a credit card to initiate the free month of CBS All Access.
Between now and April 23, visit CBS All Access and use the free trial code GIFT. You’ll create an account, enter your credit card information, and enjoy. Once the free month trial ends, your credit card will automatically be charged for whichever subscription you select. There are three subscription levels:
- $5.99 a month with limited commercials
- $9.99 a month with no commercials
- Pay for the year in advance and save 15% off the monthly price ($59.99 for limited commercials, $99.99 for no commercials)
All of the above options come with the free month trial.
How to Cancel CBS All Access
CBS lets you cancel the membership any time during the free trial, or if you’re on a monthly billing you can cancel and not have the card charged when the next billing cycle rolls around. To do that:
- Log into your CBS All Access Account
- Scroll down to the “Subscription & Billing” section
- Hit “Cancel Subscription”
If you’re on the annual billing plan and want a partial refund, you’ll need to contact CBS All Access support for help. Be polite, and you may get what you asked for.
