More celebrities are using their social media platforms to encourage their followers to vote. New mom Katy Perry is going viral for her participation in Jane Fonda’s latest workout video — “Exercise That Vote.”
Fonda’s video — which is a nod to her 1980’s Jane Fonda Workout videos — opens up with the star saying, “Hello class, we’re bringing back the movement.” The video cuts to its all-star line-up, which includes Perry and her fiance Orlando Bloom, Kerry Washington, Amy Schumer, Ashley Benson, Ken Jeong, Vanessa Hudgens, and Shaquille O’Neal.

“We want you to be in shape for the upcoming race,” Fonda says. “I need you to be strong! I need you to be laser-focused. I need you to be fully committed to the task at hand. So, let’s get ready to exercise our right to vote!”
Each celeb carries out their own workout in the video, from sit-ups to bicycle crunches. Perry took the opportunity to show the latest addition to her fitness routine — breast pumping. (The full video is embedded below.)
Katy Perry Goes Viral, Again, in Video

Back in August, Perry went viral after celebrating her daughter’s birth (and new album) with a glimpse of her post-pregnancy look, complete with a nursing bra and postpartum underwear. This time, the singer shared on the Instagram caption, “Okay so @orlandobloom and I have different views on what it means to get pumped these days.”
Interspersed with the other celebrities, Perry can be seen eating and lurking around her home while Bloom lifts weights in a home gym. Then, the clip cuts to Perry facing away from the camera, sitting next to her breast pump. She turns around to the camera mid-pump and declares, “Get pumped to vote.”
Perry also wrote in her caption, “… whoever said pumping isn’t a sport…I’d like to twist their nipples clockwise for one week straight.”
At this point we return to coach Jane Fonda saying, “Exercise your glutes, exercise your quads, and most of all, exercise your right to vote.” Fonda then signs off and the screen directs viewers to visit ExerciseThatVote.org.
The video finally ends with a fatigued Perry reaching out to fellow mom Amy Schumer, who recently made headlines for celebrating her son saying “Dad” for the first time. Perry asks, “Hey Amy, does your kid have teeth?”
