Claudia Conway, the 15-year-old daughter to Trump counselor Kellyanne Conway, is officially pushing for emancipation. The teenager, who has spent a great deal of time on social media bashing President Trump and her own conservative parents, made the announcement via Twitter.
“I’m officially pushing for emancipation. Buckle up because this is probably going to be public one way or another, unfortunately. Welcome to my life,” 15-year-old Claudia Conway tweeted Saturday night.

However, those plans for emancipation may come to a halt now that both Kellyanne and husband George T. Conway III — a fellow conservative but also an outspoken critic of Kellyanne’s boss, President Trump — are resigning from their respective jobs.
George, a lawyer and a key player at the Lincoln Project — which is made up of Republicans devoted to defeating Trump in November — said he will be taking a break from the organization. His reason? To devote more time to his family.
So I’m withdrawing from @ProjectLincoln to devote more time to family matters. And I’ll be taking a Twitter hiatus.— George Conway (@gtconway3d) August 24, 2020
Needless to say, I continue to support the Lincoln Project and its mission. Passionately.
Kellyanne, who serves as a senior adviser to Trump and has been one of his longest-serving aides, was Trump’s third campaign manager in 2016 and has been one of his most visible and vocal defenders ever since. She is leaving the White House at the end of the month. Her reason? The same.
“We disagree about plenty,” she wrote of herself and George, “but we are united on what matters most: the kids. Our four children are teens and ‘tweens starting a new academic year in the middle school and high school that will be conducted remotely from home for at least a few months. As millions of parents nationwide know, kids ‘doing school from home’ requires a level of attention and vigilance that is as unusual as these times.”
She continued: “This is completely my choice and my voice. In time, I will announce future plans. For now, and for my beloved children, it will be less drama, more mama.”
Claudia Conway Reacts
Shortly after the couple made their announcements, Claudia shared two TikTok videos about them. One features herself with her mother’s statement resigning as President Donald Trump’s counselor in the background. The second was about her father and showed his tweet that announced his withdrawal from the Lincoln Project.
Claudia? She took credit for the resignations.
“Look what I did,” she says in the TikTok. “Look at what I did, ladies and gentlemen. Look at what I did.”

the power i hold – i— they think this is gonna stop me from getting emancipated? NANSHAJAB BYE♬ original sound – datjerseygirl
But there did seem to be some hurt feelings there. “They didn’t even talk about it with any of us …just tweeted about it as if this is going to change anything and make me not emancipate myself,” she wrote in the comments section on TikTok.
So, is Claudia still looking to be emancipated from mom and dad? Possibly. Kellyanne is due to speak at the Republican National Convention this week, and Claudia tweeted that she is “like DEVASTATED beyond compare.”
Then to her followers, she tweeted this: “y’all love to twist everything… i’m not getting emancipated because of my mom’s job.. it is because of years of childhood trauma and abuse”
