It’s time for Pokemon lovers to rejoice — The Pokemon Company announced three all-new Pokemon-related games this week. The lineup includes puzzle game Pokemon Cafe Mix and the highly-anticipated return of the classic New Pokemon Snap.
Pokemon Cafe Mix is a “free-to-start” puzzle game for both mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch. Players can recruit pokemon to build their very own cafe but have to complete puzzles to serve the perfect dishes to customers. The game will be ready to download starting next week on June 23.
There’s also Pokemon Smile, which is The Pokemon Company’s second attempt at using games to encourage healthy lifestyles. Last year, they launched the sleep-tracking game Pokemon Sleep. Pokemon Smile encourages kids to brush their teeth using Augmented Reality (AR) effects. As kids successfully brush their teeth, they can catch their own pokemon.
Pokemon Smile is free and ready to download for mobile devices now.
New Pokemon Snap Brings Back a Classic

Pokemon Snap was first introduced on the classic N64 as a game where players simply captured photos of various pokemon. Not much is known about the new Switch game — its description simply says “an all-new adventure for Nintendo Switch that’s inspired by the classic Nintendo 64 game.”
In New Pokemon Snap, players can expect to explore deserts, jungles, and more as they photograph fan-favorite Pokemon and discover “never-before-seen” Pokemon expression and behaviors.
New Pokemon Snap doesn’t have a release date yet, but you can watch the trailer in the meantime:
