Samsung TV Plus is a free, non-subscription service for owners of eligible Samsung TVs and mobile devices. If you own one of the eligible devices, you can enjoy a variety of free programming spanning more than 160 channels with everything from sports, news, movies, and entertainment.
Kid’s programming has been a priority for the company, and has become even more robust with the recent announcement that PBS Kids will now be a part of the Samsung TV Plus line-up.
With the addition of PBS Kids, Samsung TV Plus now has nine channels geared toward children. These channels stream consistently and around the clock so parents and kids can tune in to find their favorite shows. While some of the channel names may be unfamiliar, the shows they stream are family favorites.

PJ Masks, Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, StoryBots, Mighty Express, and Angry Birds will now be complemented with PBS Kids classics like Clifford The Big Red Dog and Arthur. Samsung TV Plus feels the addition of PBS Kids programming is a logical step in their efforts to create an abundant lineup of entertainment geared toward family and children.
“PBS Kids is home to some of the most loved children’s shows and characters in the history of television and we’re so happy to welcome them all onto Samsung TV Plus. As with all of the channels on Samsung TV Plus, but especially so for our kids’ content, the quality of programming and ability for shows to uplift and inspire is what we look for,” a spokesperson for Samsung TV Plus tells Parentology.

They children’s channels on the platform include:
- Nick Pluto TV
- The LEGO Channel
- pocket.watch
- Toon Goggles
- TG Junior
- KiDoodle.TV
- ZooMoo
- Moonbug Kids
- PBS Kids
Family Friendly — For Real
Parents can rest assured that all children’s programming on Samsung TV Plus adheres to all U.S. broadcast content and safety standards. TV owners can also filter content by rating. Easy parental controls enable adults to only allow shows or movies that are G or PG rated to be viewed by their children, and ensures that adult programming remains adult.
The programming is ad-supported, so you will see commercials. If you prefer On-Demand viewing, Samsung TV Plus does have a Video on Demand library. The company is creating a free programming experience that may make many subscription and streaming models obsolete for the owners of its products.
Owners of Samsung television models from 2016-2021 should have access to Samsung TV Plus for free; many Samsung Galaxy owners are able to access the programming as well.
