On October 12th, one year after the Woolsey Fire caused mass destruction across the Southern California coast, Clarins and the Malibu Foundation hosted a special one-day event called Re-Plant Love. Guests of the event planted 3,160 resilient native trees, plants and shrubs and sprinkled 50,000 seeds for new growth. The goal? To help restore Malibu’s Paramount Ranch to the lush green land it once was and prevent future fires.
Clarins and the Malibu Foundation partnered with the Mountain Restoration Trust, Just Water, Coolhaus and Le Café de la Plage to honor the anniversary for the Woolsey Fire. It was one of the most catastrophic wildfires in history, destroying 88% of federal lands located within the Santa Monica Mountain Range.
A host of celebrities were present at Paramount Ranch for the event to perform and show support. Among the attendees were Jaime King, Dylan and Paris Brosnan, Echosmith, Brandon Thomas Lee, Brandon Jenner, Linda Thompson, Fai Khadra, Damon Baker, Rory Kennedy and more. Take a look at these famous guests below.
