Join the Rescue Riders as they celebrate the Viking holiday of giving — called Odinyule — in Dragons Rescue Riders Huttsgalor Holiday. The newest installment in the Dragons Rescue Riders series from DreamWorks Animation is soaring onto Netflix this November 24th, but you can watch the trailer and an exclusive preview clip on Parentology right now.
About the Series
The series is part of the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, but aimed at younger kids. Human kids Dak and Leyla live in a faraway corner of the Viking and dragon world, but when tragedy strikes the two are rescued and raised by friendly dragons. The siblings grow up in the town of Huttsgalor, and along with young dragons Winger, Aggro, Summer, Cutter, and Burple, they become the Rescue Riders, and the group takes on exciting new adventures.
In this new holiday special, the crew is set to celebrate Odinyule — their version of Christmas. But when a mysterious storm ruins the celebration, the Rescue Riders need to figure out what’s causing the storms, stop it, and save the holiday with new traditions of their own.

Dragons Rescue Riders Huttsgalor Holiday Trailer
Many modern Christmas customs stemmed from Yule celebrations, and Santa Claus evolved from the Norse god Odin. (So we’re kind of going full circle here.) The writers are clearly having fun with those ideas as seen in the trailer above, and in the clip below.
