Few bonds are stronger than those between a kid and his or her pet. But when a freak mishap allows a young boy to suddenly be able to communicate with his pet dog, nothing can break them apart — including the bad guys. That’s the initial premise of the new Lionsgate film Think Like a Dog, but this movie is so much more than that. It’s a film about friendship, fun, and the true meaning of family in all its forms.
Parentology has gotten behind-the-scenes access and an exclusive clip just for our readers. Check it out below.
About Think Like a Dog
Think Like a Dog follows 12-year-old Oliver (Gabriel Bateman), whose middle-school science fair experiment goes awry, creating a telepathic connection between him and his furry friend, Henry. The bond brings Oliver and Henry even closer as they join forces to comically overcome complications at school, and hopefully help Oliver’s parents (played by Josh Duhamel and Megan Fox) rekindle their marriage along the way.
But there are bad guys on the horizon — villains who want access to the accidental technology that has allowed dog and boy to communicate. Can Oliver and Henry escape their foes and save the day?
The only way to find out is to watch the film, which is being released on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on June 9. (Due to the coronavirus outbreak, this is one of many movies being released direct-to-digital.) Check out the trailer here, the exclusive clip below that, and learn some exciting news about the film and Parentology.
