Marvel’s Runaways Season 3 is now streaming on Hulu. Based on the Marvel Comics and set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the series has a loyal following. Season 3 has been confirmed to be Runaways last, with Marvel fans promised 10 final episodes packed with surprises.
The Hulu original series follows a group of teenagers united for one cause — taking down their evil-doing parents, who are known collectively as PRIDE. The teens aren’t emptyhanded and unequipped, of course. Some of their secret weapons include superhuman strength, access to the dark realm, even a pet dinosaur. As the series title suggests, the teens run away to embark on a journey to defeat unlikely evils.
The original team of Runaways is back: Alex Wilder (Rhenzy Feliz), Nico Minoru (Lyrica Okano), Karolina Dean (Virginia Gardner), Gert Yorkes (Ariela Barer), Chase Stein (Gregg Sulkin), and Molly Hernandez (Allegra Acosta). Their parents are portrayed by luminaries including Angel Parker, Annie Wersching, Kip Pardue, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Brigid Brannagh, Kevin Weisman, Brittany Ishibashi, James Yaegashi, and Ryan Sands.
In Runaways season 3, the gang’s on a search for their kidnapped friends: Chase, Gert, and Karolina. The search leads them to the dark realm with the help of Nico, where they meet the evil ruler Morgan le Fay (Elizabeth Hurley). Hulu has teased that the story will be wrapped up by the end of the finale, and fans can only hope their favorite characters get their own satisfying ending.
Marvel franchise fans can get excited about seeing surprise guest appearances from the MCU. Among them, Tyrone Johnson/Cloak (Aubrey Joseph) and Tandy Bowen/Dagger (Olivia Holt) from Freeform network’s Marvel series, Cloak and Dagger.
