The Mighty Ones Season 2 – New Trailer
Produced by DreamWorks Animation, The Mighty Ones follows the hilarious adventures of the aforementioned tiny-but-mighty best friends: a twig (Twig), a pebble (Rocksy), a leaf (Leaf), and a strawberry (Very Berry). Living in the unkempt backyard belonging to a trio of equally unkempt humans – who they mistake for gods – these self-proclaimed Mighty Ones are determined to live large and have fun in their wild wonderland, despite their diminutive stature.
In season 2, adventure awaits as the crew learns more about the strange creatures living around them. Some highlights include:
- A flood forces the group to live as pirates searching for dry land.
- Rocksy dabbles in a home makeover.
- Very Berry makes a new feathery “friend” who may or may not see her as food.
“The Mighty Ones really is silly, fun humor that can be enjoyed by the whole family,” executive producer Lynne Naylor tells Parentology. “There may be some jokes that go over kids’ heads, but there’s lots of silly cartoon humor that all ages will enjoy.”
“I hope kids are inspired to look at their own backyards from a different perspective,” adds fellow exec producer Sunil Hall. “Go poke their face in the grass and see what interesting things are down there! Leaves and twigs can become characters and your yard can become an infinite world to explore when you use your imagination.”
Season 2 premieres July 1 for streaming on both Hulu and Peacock. Learn more about The Mighty Ones on the DreamWorks website.
