13. Fear of Peanut Butter (Arachibutyrophobia)
The fear of peanut butter isn’t as irrational as some might think, and this isn’t someone who’s simply got a severe peanut allergy. Arachibutyrophobia is actually rooted in the fear of having it stick to the roof of your mouth. More generally, it can be related to a fear of choking or sticky textures.
This fear can often be traced to an early tragic event, such as seeing someone have an allergy attack from peanut butter as a child.
